While I was in Colorado I realized the highest point in Nebraska was only an hour and a half drive away. And hour and a half away on ground as flat as Kansas. No mountains or hills to climb, just a nice easy drive.
Yes! Another state who’s highest point is on flat ground,
My youngest son and I piled into the car and went to the highest point in Nebraska.
We drove out into the middle of nowhere and ended up at this farm house.
This man owns the land that is geographically this highest point and is willing to let people go out into the field to see the marker.
There was a hard no for walking or biking because this was a bison field.
My son and I were excited to see bison but there wasn’t one to seen. For miles. Which I know because this is almost as flat as Kansas was.
Well, there you go. Four of the 48 states in the continental US complete.
I’m still questioning having that on my bucket list.
